I Knew I'd Regret That Trick...

We've had Camelot-like weather in Portland, which is to say it's only rained at night; the days have been fine and clear. As a result, Gabbie's been back to play more.

The other day, she and Charlie were zooming around the yard, playing chase, when Charlie turned and streaked towards me. I expected him to veer off at the last minute, as usual, but I guess he'd decided to go through my legs... at full speed... without them being particularly open...

What's that phrase... a** over teacup? Well, anyway, down I went, fortunately more surprised than hurt. And Charlie and Gabbie raced on.

Maybe I won't encourage that wind-through-my-legs trick quite so much anymore. :)

The Pre-wash Cycle

Heck, who needs a dishwasher at all with Charlie around?

Go In and Out the Window...

One of Charlie's methods for keeping the Cuz away from Gabbie is to weave in and out through my legs. It always reminds me of that "Go In and Out the Window" children's song.

Fortunately, Gabbie usually won't follow, but I'm sure someday I'll regret letting Charlie learn this tactic.
