What a Dog!

Direct from Karen:
"Sophie is doing GREAT today. She is eating well, the swelling is out of her feet, and she was jumping (not supposed to) when I came home. She then ran around the house with a toy in her mouth (not supposed to). Anyway, here are some pics from last night when she came home. The others are from the snow storm day 2-3 weeks ago. Sure doesn't look sick!"

Good thing Karen is a vet -- that Sophie does like to push the boundaries (just like someone else I know)!

Just home from surgery and already teasing Steeler!

Steeler's happy that Sophie's home, too.

Hey Lil Chuck.... I just read all of your sister's updates. I'm glad she's doing great after the surgery and teasing her elders already. But... I am sadden by the result of her splenectomy... Good thing her mom is a vet. Mum says the ugly C is horrible and we need to find a way to KILL it!!

I hope Sophie continues to improve and beat the odds!

Love nibbles,
Miss Sunshade

We're just starting to try and catch up on blogs after Mango Minster, especially those of new friends we just met as a result of this year's Mango Minster.

We were not aware of Sophie's condition and prognosis. We have indeed been there, albeit with Great Danes. We wish her a miracle, and failing that, a long and pain free time surrounded by her loving family and friends. Our paws are crossed, our healing vibes are en route, and we're saying our doggie prayers for Sophie and her family.
