Getting Comfortable

Occasionally it seems like Charlie gets obsessed with making his bed be "just right" before he can lie down. It can go on a surprisingly long time, and I've always wanted to capture it on video, but usually don't have my camera handy. Last week, however, I got a sample -- this is his "shortened version" (he got distracted) but you can still get the idea, I think! :)

Mine do that too! It's adorable!

All of mine do that. I think it's something about knocking down the tall grasses of their primordial days.

I like the look he gives you around :48 seconds...

I think he is trying to knead all the lumps out of his bed!

Charlie!
It is important to have it in the right way! I know that!
Well... I don't have a doggie bed but I like to do that with the cushions on the sofa! And for some reason my grandma does not find that funny!
I loved your video!

Geez, I thought Lady was the only dog that made a Broadway production out of laying down! We have a name for her strange ceremony: The Magoo Dance. Can't capture it on camera, because when you watch her, she freezes. Good job catching Charlie. Its very cute.

HELLO!! I'm sorry I've not had the time to visit your blog--As you know, life has been getting in the way...But it's great to see that Charlie has finally started sleeping on his bed, even if it does take a few minutes to make it just right! :-)

I hope you're having an enjoyable Thanksgiving!!!

This video is awesome!

I love those suspicious eyes halfway through.

(Don't tell him, but he reminds me of a cat, pawing and kneading the bed to get it just right.)
