Poor Charlie! But the picture brought a smile to my face. This is a pose I'm well-acquainted with!
I learned this weekend that if you rub peppermint extract on a dog's feet it will help relieve anxiety. Two good friends gave it a go during the weekend festivities and both reported back with tremendous success. Duncan was anxious last night but I kept the TV on to distract him and that did wonders, too. You might try the peppermint oil, though. I'm picking some up at the store later today. Just blot it on with a cotton ball. You can Google this and find a ton of information! The greatest benefit, though, is that it's natural and has no side-effects, like tranquilizers or other doggy downers.
Charlie don't feel bad cause me and Baylee don't like those louds fireworks! I don't see what hoomans see with things that make big loud bangs, scarey I tell you and we don't enjoy them.

This is where Chamois our generic dog stays at the beginning of every July. Too bad the two of you can't be together for these noisy days.
