Pack Animal
Charlie is very sensitive to heat, and so we work hard to keep him well-hydrated. When we go hiking, I load up on water for us both, but it's heavy! So I was thrilled to find this RuffWear pack on sale for half-price at REI. It has 2 compartments with removable water bottles and a couple of additional small pockets.
Now Charlie can carry some of his own water and snacks. And with the convenient handle, I can help lift my Charlie "suitcase" over rough spots if need be.

Slick! I've been considering getting a pack for Abby - she gets hot easily, but I was thinking that if she was carrying cold (well, cool) water bottles, she might not get so hot, and we'd have plenty of water. I'll have to look into this!

Our mom like us to wear these even just training with us sometimes. We sometimes behave with better manners when we feel like we have a task - even if it is just carrying water.

That's very useful. My partner's friend does have a bigger packbag for his dog. They are going often hiking for many days so it's very nice to have atleast dog's own things carried by dog itself :)
