Getting in Touch with the Inner Pup

For Christmas this year, my brother sent toys. Yes, he's forty-something. Yes, I'm fifty-something. Get past it, we're talking about feeding the inner child.

I'm just getting the hang of driving the little motorized car and having a gas teasing Charlie with it. Charlie's intrigued, but not sure what the right response is - should he get out of it's way? bite it? stomp it? ignore it? I don't know how long the car will survive the experience, but for the time being we're having a great time with it!

What a fun video!! The puzzled look on Charlie's face is really priceless!! I have to say, that I think it would have scared a couple of our Goldens--They are not as brave as Charlie! THANKS for the grin at the start of my day! :-)

Khyra took the words right out of our mouths. No way would we have waited that long before stomping the power out of that little bugger:) Very cute video.

Charlie, you are so sweet and gentle! I would love to try this out. Farley met one of those large ones but was afraid of it - maybe because it was loud. That one looks perfect!

Hi, Charlie!
Sure you were very patient with that little car!
I have never seen one of those but I guess I'd run away if I had one here!

It looks to me as though he only gets worried when it touches his Roo - and then he wants to defend it! What a great video, I will have to try that with our fur kids.

We love that Charlie's interest peeks when the car touches Roo. We figure that he must be on mass medication to put up with that thing. We would have taken it outside and dismantled it by now.

Look at those little ears hanging in his face trying to figure out what the heck is running over his toes! Absolutely ADORABLE!

An amazing lesson in quiet curiosity! I'd've been barking at the top of my lungs and Fergi would've run into the other room. We noticed, though, that you got a bit more assertive when that little car bumped into your stuffie. You are a very good (and gentle) protector.

Happy New Year!
