Charlie's a funny kind of guy. A few times, when we've been on walks, an off-leash dog has run right up barking, acting aggressive, and just generally trying to provoke a rise, and Charlie's stood his ground and never acted aggressive back. Yet, there are other situations where we've attempted to introduce Charlie to another dog on the street, and he's frankly picked a fight.
So when Leigh stopped by with her ginormous Great Pyrenees, Captain, we were a little nervous about introducing them. Captain, however, is such a gentleman that everything went great! So now Charlie has a new friend.

There is nothing like a Pyr for being a gentle giant. Loving, fun and always smiling. Good pick for a friend, Charlie!
I'm soooo jealous!
That looks like such fun!

Hello, Charlie!
Your friend Captain is very handsome and you look like the best of friends :)
Cool pics and video Charlie!! It's always nice to have a new friend to play with, isn't it?!!
Those two are having the time of their lives. What fun for both of them.
What big fun with a big friend! The two of you are quite a handsome duo! We understand that leashes sometimes bring out the worst in a pup!

Hey you two get along really well. It's great meeting new friends.
I can be a bit prickly around male dogs....

Charlie has a friend! We always have to watch it with Sam too!
Looks like they got along perfectly! It is great to have friends to play with!
Great pics and vid. They look as if they're having a great time and so well behaved. My Golden, Lucy, tends to like white dogs for some reason. But she is not friendly at all, at least nothing like my lab.
