Feather-Toes?

We're having a discussion about whether or not to trim Charlie's feather-toes.

Wow, I didn't know dogs had feather toes. I only have curly furred toes. I think your toes look pretty cool though. Some people pay a lot of money to have shoes that might look something like your feather feet.

Wow! Youse got long furs coming out of your toesies! My ma cuts the hair between my pads under my toes to help keep the fox tails out, whatever they are!!! But I love that look and you have long feather hair! If you don't run through foxtail country, then why cut such pretty feathery fur hehee?

I don't like to have feather toes in the winter cuz the snow sticks to them and then I have to spend hours and hours picking snowballs off my feet when I come inside.; 9:33 PM

How Sam Sees It said...: We just trimmed Sam's. They get so long and full of burrs and when he steps in water they turn his paws into giant sponges... We make such a fuss over his freshly trimmed toes that he presents them to everyone he meets so that they can ooh and aaahh over them!
