Wishing it was Cooler

Now, at 6pm, it's still over 100 degrees Fahrenheit in Portland (38 C). Charlie is very sensitive to heat -- a few years ago, before we had AC, the house got to 84F (29C) during a heat wave and Charlie got heatstroke. So... sympathize with the poor guy -- he's only getting walkies in the morning and some quick business in the afternoon. No more playing in the yard or cherry hunting until this heat breaks!

Hi, Charlie!
Here is very hot too! Today we had 117 degrees!
I am so sorry the heat affects you a lot! Better stay inside your home enjoying the cool AC.
Take care

Oh bleah!!! When it gets super hot, my little-big sister TaiChi (who is Older Than Dirt) she will actually lie on ice packs (wrapped in a tee-shirt so she doesn't get frostbite) to help keep her cool. TaiChi also has a Cool Belly wrap (http://unleashedpetwear.com/products/etcetera.html#wraps) The heat is terrible!

We are with you. We are only going outside to do our business. the rest of the time we are in the house with the A/C and fans. This is not Pacific Northwest weather.

Hey there, Charlie
I can empathise with you with the heat...terrible to try and handle with our fur coats and all!
Keep cool, my mate.

We feel your pain! We had a heat index of 105 here in the Keys with humidity in the 90s... rediculous and miserable! Sorry about the heat stroke, that sounds horrible!
Stay Cool!

Oh you poor doggie. I just heard on the nooz that it was furry furry hot up there, whilst it's uncommonly cool down here, which is furry weird. I hope you get some relief furry soon, dear Charlie.

Pee Ess - you can come visit me if you want! Pant, pant!

Really - I'd love it if you could visit, but how about a baby plastic pool for relief? When it gets intolerable here, that's how I get cooled down and it really helps. I feel for you dude. Hope it gets cooler soon.

Charlie, tell your momma to pack your bags and send you over here! It was 65 degrees today...brrr...to momma but we like it just fine!

We see on the weather what it's like for you in the northwest. How strange. It's typical here. At this late hour it is still in the low 80's. Yuck. Lucy and Sable do not like the warm weather and make no effort to follow me outside. We hope you cool off soon!

We understand Charlie...
Maybe a trip to Cannon Beach would help...
Hope it cools off before we get there in Sept...

I think it calls for some Frosty Paws to cool Charlie down! :)

We're wishing it was warmer here, so we'll send Charlie some cools from our town (it's winter here).
