Oh yeah. I'm on dish duty over here too. Some people, ahem, like to saw it is free will, but I tell you, it's work. I think I should get extra treats for doing it.

I have one dog that jumps in the dishwasher if we leave it open. He does a very good pre-washing.

Heh, that's what my humans say about me, too. I can lick a plate cleaner than a dishwasher any day. ;)

Our Golden Retriever Brinkley always comes running when we're loading the dishwasher and tries to lick on them when they are sitting in the washer! He gets the clean loads mixed with the dirty ones sometimes and that's kinda gross! :)

I totally agree, but I still don't understand why my M has to wash my dinner bowl even after I've cleaned it thoroughly with my tongue.
